[ They peek open an eye at that, breaking just far enough away to peer down at the expanse of skin revealed to them from his work, before sliding their cold fingers further down, underneath the linen of his collar. ]

It's not like you mind, [ There's a huff, and then a kiss to the corner of his mouth, before they rest their forehead against his, taking an uncertain breath or two. Right, they were just doing whatever felt good in the moment— but pushed to keep going forward, they find themself feeling like they need to focus, be methodical. What if they mess up? It's somewhat hard to multitask between kissing him and touching him, maybe because of their inexperience, but some part of them wants to look at him, too, up close. It's not as though they've never seen him without clothing on, but this is different— very different.

Nonetheless, in a slight act of defiance from his teasing, they press the backs of their fingers, the coldest part of their hands, right against the swell of his chest, fingers splayed near the scar above his heart— and not by mistake. ] They've been colder.
