[ Anyone who had ever been a fighter knew that long hair flowing unhindered in a fight was just asking for a disadvantage. People would try to yank it, hold her in place-- at which point Judith would have just chopped it off, but there's pride in her appearance that she still holds. Keeping it out of the way was just easier, in the long run, safe and secure in a bun-- or a high ponytail, when the whim struck her.

Letting it down symbolizes more than just the need to wash it. Right now, Zara is the only one here with her, and he's someone who's proven his worth, granted her the ability to trust him. And if he does any tugging of her hair, it's one of those rare occasions that she won't mind.

Not that she'll clarify any of this without the proper prompting, but she's still very much at ease when he reappears. And apparently still as mischievous as ever, as Judith deliberately lets her gaze travel from his ears to his feet, and back up, only carefully lifting an eyebrow at the sight of the towel adorning his waist.

Well, he'll lose it sooner or later, and she nods acquiescence, scooting forward a bit. The two feathery plumes she sports have been tied into loose loops, to keep from getting too waterlogged. ]

It's a shame, though... I'll have to keep my head tilted to see your face.
