[ She manages to save her astonishment after hearing what he says, leaning out of the way and grabbing a box of the cookies on the shelves to put in the bag around her arm. ]

Don't worry, that won't happen. [ She says, quiet enough so that only he can hear. There is in fact a customer giving her a strange look, but she only meets it with a little wave and an effortless smile, seeming innocent and charming in every sense of the word. ] Misa is a people person!

[ And that's her biggest asset in avoiding suspicion in her day to day life doing... all the killing and stuff. She's not going to worry too much about her ability to speak with a random cat, because - why worry? It'll become an issue if it becomes one. For now, it's just interesting. ]
