[ Where are they.... somewhere nebulously in a shared game universe... perhaps separated from their main squeeze due to an extreme weather event or some kind of mission. Either way, here they are out hoofing it in the (mostly) wild, underneath the stars. In this AU, Johnny also has Slow Dancer because I said so, and Misa just has some random horse issued to her by the authorities. ]

Are you sure you're going to be able to find our way back? It's already dark out...!

[ Misa complains, sounding whiny and apprehensive; she's been letting Johnny do all the navigating of trying to find their way back to civilization because 1) she hates the idea of camping, and 2) Johnny seems to know plenty enough about this sort of thing for the both of them. Not to mention she's not very good with the horses, given the handful of times she's gotten fingers nipped or fallen out of the saddle completely.

For now, she kicks a little stick into the pile that's become their makeshift fire starter, tilting her head at him and waiting for him (demandingly) to reassure her. ]

And I've never slept outside before...

[ Neither has she seen the night sky look so bright with twinkling stars, city girl as she is. Case in point, she doesn't even seem to notice or care when a shooting star glints by them, too busy worrying about getting bitten by bugs in the middle of the night. ]
