[ Diva, on the other hand, stays exactly where she is, seemingly comfortable with laying in the grass and flowers. Though she does look Garry's way as he talks, at least. ]
It's fine, isn't it? I just didn't think the ground would be so soft. [ Her head doesn't shift, but her eyes look up instead at the sky (?!) ]
It must be, right? We went down, so it couldn't be anything else.
[ he gives her a rather questioning glance. Hadn't she ever been outside before? (He's not sure he wants the answer to that question.) ]
But there's a sky... That just doesn't make sense. [ pause, and then he gives a long-suffering sigh. ] ... Ahh, I don't know why I expect anything to make sense anymore.
Ruin it? I'm sure more sets of eyes would... [ he tenses up a bit when she reaches out to him, but she's just putting a flower on him... oh. This girl -- this woman, really, despite how she acted sometimes -- couldn't be helped. ] ... would let us find a way out faster, but... I suppose it's all right if we look around a little first.
That's fine! We can just enjoy it as our secret for a little bit and I'll be happy.
[ As she withdraws her hand, she pauses, smoothing a piece of his hair that was out of place. But then she's seemingly done with getting in his personal space for now, since she stands, brushing off her skirt. ]

[ he leans over, looking riled up, supporting himself on his hands. ]
What if there's a way out in here? We've just got to tell the others!

[ Diva sits up, leaning closer to tuck that flower behind Garry's ear. ]
You can tell them, if you want. But, we should definitely have fun while we're here.
