[ the holidays mean no school - but the snow means no phantom thief outings, tragically, and so, Morgana's been mostly stuck inside, which isn't the most entertaining. After hanging around with Akira for a while talking about nothing in particular, he lets him catch up on his beauty sleep and comes down Leblanc's stairs.

Celine is a little bit hard to get ahold of, and he doesn't actually know where she goes a lot of the time... so he is a little bit surprised to see her sitting in the cafe. ]

There you are! I was looking for you, you know! You're such a pain to find sometimes. [ sigh! he pads over, sitting on his haunches a little distance away. ] ... I was gonna say you could come with us to Mementos today, but we can't go out because of the snow.

[ he's convinced that Celine could lead him through Mementos back to... wherever he's from. His village? Sure. But not today, evidently. ]

[Wow, rude!! Celine just flicks her tail at him lazily in response to that comment; she's a pain to find because she's a cat, that's what cats do!!]

honestly, he'd be willing to brave the snow just to go to Mementos - not just because he wants to learn more about himself, but because the phantom thief business really is his passion. That said, he's not so pompous that he thinks he can take everything on by himself anymore.

And normally he'd take the bag thing as an insult, but since it's actually meant that way, he tries to take it in stride, instead. ]

[ it's fine. he totally gets it. He'll go back to being a tsun cat as soon as he's actually in the room with Akira and the others. Celine is just easy to talk to, for some reason - maybe it's because he feels a sort of kinship with her. Of course, he's not really a cat, but -- they're birds of a feather, right? She's lost in a world she doesn't recognize, just like him. She's kind of snooty, but she's smart, and she probably isn't going to go blabber to the others about that cute, honest thing he just said, which is (of course) the most important part.

He hums at her total dodge of his question, seeming slightly amused, but her distraction is effective; he looks up, then nods. ]

Oh, yeah! They've been hanging this stuff everywhere. It's good luck to sit under it, right? Maybe I'll get lucky and Lady Ann will bring me some sushi tomorrow...!

Celine actually giggles at that, plainly amused, and shakes her head.]

[ morgana's confidence in his totally wrong idea is somewhat impressive. Still, he turns his head towards Celine curiously, waiting for her (clearly misinformed) explanation. ]

[That's what she says, smug and amused--though in reality, she's a little inwardly nervous despite herself. It's a silly urge to do this, a silly whim, and in truth she's not sure what she's doing, but--

She leans in, pressing her nose briefly to Morgana's, rubbing her face briefly against his, and then...tugs back to flick her tail at him again instead.

Tsun tsun dere. And, almost gruffly:]

[ that's pretty much all he can sputter out after that. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Morgana remembers that she's actually right, and mistletoe had been about kissing people, and he feels slightly annoyed that he was wrong - but much more pressing than that is the fact that she'd chosen to demonstrate the tradition on him just now. What? What?! How is he supposed to interpret this?! Not even once had the mere concept of Celine doing -- treating -- whatever-ing him that way even crossed his mind!

With zero mental or emotional preparation for this, he panics. And he falls back to his most reliable defense mechanism: getting mad. Immaturely. All the fur on his tail stands up, and he shoves his front paws in her face as if he's going to somehow push what she just did back into her, because he totally can't deal with it. ]

W-w-what are you doing?! Stop it! Celine!!

[ if he wasn't covered in hair, one gets the impression he'd have turned beet red about now ]

[Morgana is, in fact, endearingly amusing when he's like this, and it means Celine doesn't have to be embarrassed at all, because Morgana is the one doing it for her. He bristles, and she just settles her tail over her paws, the picture of a contented, satisfied cat, leaning back away from his paws.
